Tourists for the day....

Two Sundays ago we were tourists for the day. The sky was a bit overcast with some clouds, and the weather held out. It turn out to be a decent day.

We decided to drive into the City and walk around Battery Park. Then we hopped onto the Staten Island Ferry. We had intentions of getting right back on the Ferry and take a walk though China town. At the last minute we made a phone call and made a surprise visit with family. Although it was a short visit, Jillian had lots of fun with her cousins.

Our next stop for the day was dinner at the scenic Harbour lights at Pier 17 where John worked some years back. Dinner was spectacular, and it was so good to see old friends from the restaurant.

All in all we had a great day!!
