A Beautiful Afternoon...
Jillian takes the time to sit on the curb outside of daycare. She liked it so much that she didn't want to get up to get in the car and go home.
She was convinced rather quickly with a bribe of Cheri0s from Papa!!

Pictures we sent with our one year post adoption placement
Like our six month post placement, I thought that collages would be the best way to go. Four 8x10 photos. I picked a background color to compliment the pics. Not shown here - I used a black border that made it look clean and neat. Simple digital scrap booking right from my picture library.

One year post adoption placement complete....
...and we're off to the zoo!!
June 29, 2009 - We completed our final post adoption placement visit with our social worker, and decided to take advantage of a beautiful day and visit a local zoo. Amazing how fast the year has gone by. A bittersweet visit marks the end of the long journey to bring our Jillian home.
Sad to say goodbye to Irene, yet happy to have closure at the end of this chapter in adoption, and now to follow up with what has yet to come watching Jillian grow!
We had a great relationship with Irene - a warm, wonderful and caring woman who was our social worker during this very long road to our adoption from China.
Thank you, Irene, for all your help and support through all the ups and downs on this sometimes bumpy road as we now have so much to look forward to!!
