Week 6 - "We Heart Kisses" Photo Challenge

Back to the pediatrician today...

.... to follow up from the ear infection.

The left tube is still not visible.

It could have migrated..... It could have fallen out...

Don't know.

The infection is cleared up, and there is still fluid in Jillian's ear.

I was able to speak to the ENT doctor while in the OR today, so we'll be making an appointment to be seen next week. We are so lucky to have access to our doctors almost on a daily basis even if it's for peace of mind and reassurance.


Lucky that there is always someone around to ask advice!

So, we'll have to see what the next step will be when we follow up with the ENT doctor.

We're all still sharing this lousy cold!!

And, poor Jillian has ANOTHER ear infection!!

Yes!  She had tubes placed in her ears.  The permanent ones too.  The ones to be removed when the doctor says it's time to take them out.

Problem is :  we don't see the tube in her left ear.  Why??!!  Don't know if it's because of the ear infection... or wax... We just have to wait until next week.  After we finish a round of antibiotics and/or we follow up with the ENT doctor.

I am so worried that she'll have to have another surgery!

To top things off, we have a physical scheduled for my sister, as well as, the usual mammogram and a routine sonogram scheduled to follow up from her gyn  exam all in the same week.

No picnic there, let me tell you.

Her disabilities make things a tad bit more difficult to complete these tasks.

God bless my co-workers who have the patience, the ability and the talent to deal with these issues!

They are very SPECIAL people!!

It takes so much of the little time that I have just to make sure everyone else is taken care of medically before I can schedule my own medical visits!!
Oh well.....one of these days......

In the meantime, some Jillian FUN to hold you over!!  And, yes, I still have to update Miss Jillian on Project Jillian 365 too!!  All those funny, sweet beautiful photos from each and every day are just waiting to be posted!!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!!! Part one.

The next occassion after New Year's is my Birthday - which we also re-enacted since we were still sick, sick, sick!

My birthday, part two, continued at home with all of our guests in attendance!!

Amazingly enough, we had enough cake for all our guests!!

The third installment of my birthday will continue on Friday with a cake for family that were not able to attend part one and part two.

Hmmm, doesn't everyone have at least three birthday cakes??!!

New Year's Eve...Re-enacted!!

We're FINALLY feeling a little bit better.

So we made some streamers out of crepe paper

and had a lot of fun re-enacting New Year's Eve!!

And hopefully we'll all feel better in the New Year!!

We ended 2009 with everyone pretty sick - passing the WORST head colds, coughs and sore throats we've ever had back and forth!! With the worst symptoms occurring over the last four days!

It started with Miss Jillian a couple of weeks ago. John was the next victim - sick all though Christmas. After John, my sister Debra was next to fall - just after Christmas. Then, naturally, it was my turn. Only with me, there were digestive issues that went from one extreme to the other!

Just as Jillian was finally feeling better, she started up all over again! My poor baby!

Luckily, neither my Dad or my Mother-in-law have shown any symptoms as of yet. Hopefully they will be spared. The rest of us are still feeling PRETTY MISERABLE with the exception of Jillian. She is unbelievable - happily moving along with just a couple of episodes of minor crankiness. I don't know how she does it!!

So, with that said, we wish everyone a Very Happy New Year!! And I'll post pictures after we recreate New Year's Eve for Jillian's sake. So what if New Year's Eve is off by a day or two!! Fortunately, she's at the right age where she believes anything we tell her - LOL!!! And, she'll have fun regardless of what day it is!!
